Baton Rouge River Center Theatre for the Performing Arts
Baton Rouge performing arts fans have a lot to be excited about this fall—and non just because pandemic restrictions have eased. After a three-twelvemonth renovation, the River Center Performing Arts Theatre is finally set to reopen in September, but in time for a total slate of events.
The $sixteen.two million renovation project includes significant updates to the interior and exterior of the 44-year-old edifice, including a retooled façade and entrance plaza, an expanded lobby, improved acoustics and larger seats with heart aisles that permit for ameliorate movement.
